LOS ANGELES, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Ellen DeGeneres dismissed claims of her supposed "gay agenda" Wednesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The 56-year-old television host responded to an op-ed written by conservative pastor Larry Tomczak for The Christian Post. Tomczak declared DeGeneres "celebrates her lesbianism and 'marriage' in between appearances of guests like Taylor Swift to attract young girls" on the talk show.

"First of all, I'm not 'married,' I'm married," she emphasized. "The only way I'm trying to influence people is to be more kind and compassionate with one another. That is the message I'm sending out. I don't have an agenda."

"Attention, youth of the world: I want you to live your lives being exactly who you are," she said as she mock-hypnotized the audience. "Be true to yourself -- the most important thing is to be true to yourself. The second most important thing is that you wear Ellen underwear and only Ellen underwear."

Tomczak cited Fox series Glee, ABC sitcom Modern Family and CBS drama The Good Wife as other examples of Hollywood's alleged gay agenda. The pastor warned readers "to guard" their loved ones from such depictions of an "immoral," "indecent" and "unnatural" lifestyle.
