"Grab yourself a copy of U.S. Elle magazine and read about my new role on a small unheard of series called Orange is the New Black.. (insert sarcasm)," she wrote. "Haha I am very excited and honored to be named one of the magazine's fresh faces on TV to watch in 2015."

Orange is the New Black is based on Piper Kerman's memoir of the same name, and premiered on Netflix in 2013. The series follows Piper, a bisexual woman sentenced to 15 months in a women's federal prison. Season three will debut in June.

Rose came to fame as a model in 2002, and subsequently became a VJ for MTV Australia. She also acted as a guest judge and correspondent on Australia's Next Top Model, and released a capsule collection with fashion label Milk and Honey in 2010.
