'Game of Thrones' Season 4 finale, Season 5 preview heading to IMAX theaters

This will mark the first time the blood-soaked fantasy drama will be seen in movie theaters.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- HBO has announced the last two episodes of Season 4 of Game of Thrones, along with an exclusive Season 5 preview, will be shown at select IMAX theaters for a limited time this month.

The program will run on the big screen Jan. 23-29.

This will mark the first time the blood-soaked fantasy drama will be seen in movie theaters or IMAX.

Co-starring Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aidan Gillen, Stephen Dillane, Liam Cunningham and Natalie Dormer, the series is set in a fictional medieval world and follows several noble houses as they battle for power.
