VAIL, Colo., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Trista Sutter was surprised to be a topic of conversation on The Late Late Show last week.

The 42-year-old original Bachelorette made headlines once again after Jay Leno dissed her on the late night program Friday. The former Tonight Show host told Craig Ferguson Sutter was boring to interview, and she took to Twitter with a snappy response.

"After 10 years, ironic that I'm the topic of convo on @CraigyFerg last show," the reality star wrote. "Thx 4 the shoutout @jayleno! Next time, plz mention my book. ;)."

Leno called Sutter his "classic example" after Ferguson asked him if he ever "glass[ed] over" on The Tonight Show. Not only was he disinterested in the interview, he admitted to forgetting Sutter and her name by the time she asked him for a picture in the parking lot after the show.

Sutter and Bachelorette contestant Ryan Sutter married in December 2003, and have a 7-year-old son, Maxwell Alston, and 5-year-old daughter, Blakesley Grace. The reality star released her first book, Happily Ever After: The Life-Changing Power of a Grateful Heart in November 2013.
