The actresses will return to host the awards ceremony for a third and final time in January. Fey, 44, and Poehler, 43, shared humorous clips from previous years, and speculated on how they will keep their upcoming appearance fresh (or not).
The Golden Globe Awards were established in 1944, and are bestowed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The awards recognize achievements in both domestic and foreign film and television, and are presented at an annual ceremony and dinner.
Fey is best known for her work on NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, and portraying Liz Lemon on 30 Rock. The actress last appeared with Jason Bateman in This is Where I Leave You, and will produce new Netflix comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Poehler will return as Leslie Knope for a seventh and final season of NBC comedy Parks and Recreation on Jan. 13. The actress released unconventional memoir Yes Please in October, and is scheduled to executive produce and star in Sisters in Dec. 2015.
The 2015 Golden Globe Awards will air Sunday, Jan. 11 on NBC.
