NEW YORK, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Jonny Lee Miller says he would love it if his fellow Sherlock Holmes portrayer Benedict Cumberbatch guest starred on his CBS detective series Elementary.
Asked during a New York Comic Con panel last month if Natalie Dormer's iconic villain Moriarty might have a brother and if that sibling could possibly be played in a future episode by Cumberbatch, Miller replied: "That's a fantastic idea, I have to say. But I'm not in charge, thankfully. If I was in charge, that would totally happen."
Miller and Cumberbatch shared a joint Olivier Award in 2012 for rotating the roles of Victor Frankenstein and the Creature throughout the run of director Danny Boyle's West End production of Frankenstein.
Cumberbatch can now be seen playing the role of Holmes in the BBC's Sherlock, which, like Elementary, is a contemporary retelling of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's 19th-century mysteries.
