'Friends' will be available on Netflix in January

BEVERLY HILLS , Calif., Oct. 15 (UPI) -- The entire 10-season run of the classic sitcom Friends will be available via Netflix Jan. 1, the streaming service announced Wednesday.

Starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, Friends was about a brother and sister and their four friends living and working in New York City. Although it wrapped in 2004, the show has lived on in syndicated re-runs.

A Jimmy Kimmel Live! skit featuring Aniston, Cox and Kudrow reprising their characters Rachel, Monica and Phoebe late last August has been viewed nearly 16 million times on YouTube.
