Katherine Heigl shares topless photo from 'State of Affairs' set

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Katherine Heigl recently went topless for new NBC series State of Affairs.

The 35-year-old actress was filming a sex scene with co-star Mark Tallman when creator Joe Carnahan and several other male crew mates stripped off their shirts and joined them on the bed. Heigl posted a photo of the goofy behind-the-scenes moment on Instagram, and captioned the picture, "Nope I haven't gone into the adult film business...just having a little fun w/ my amazingly supportive crew who shed their shirts in solidarity!! Love you all!!"

Heigl will portray Charleston "Charlie" Tucker on the political drama. The character is a CIA analyst who assembles and presents the President's Daily Briefing to President Constance Payton (Alfre Woodard). Payton is the first black female president, and mother to Tucker's love interest, Aaron Payton (Mark Tallman).

State of Affairs will premiere November 17 on NBC. Heigl is also scheduled to appear in upcoming films Jenny's Wedding and Home Sweet Hell.
