LOS ANGELES, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Revenge released a dramatic season four trailer Tuesday.
Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) narrates the preview and relates her involvement with Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp). Seasons one through three saw Emily take revenge on the Grayson family, but Victoria vows to turn the tables in season four.
Revenge debuted on ABC in 2011, and co-stars Gabriel Mann as Nolan Ross, Nick Wechsler as Jack Porter, Josh Bowman as Daniel Grayson and Christa B. Allen as Charlotte Clarke. The series follows Emily, born Amanda Clarke, as she exacts revenge on Victoria and the Grayson family for framing her father, David Clarke (James Tupper), for treason and appearing to murder him. The season three finale revealed David is alive, and saw Emily commit Victoria to a mental health institution.
"[David] may not be the most emotionally and psychologically stable," executive producer Aaron Harberts told E! in July. "The drive of season four will be Victoria discovering who Amanda Clarke is and Emily figuring out her new life with her father in it. I don't want to say when she's going to discover that, but that's going to be our arc for the season."
Season four of Revenge will premiere September 28 on ABC.
