TNT orders second season of 'Murder in the First'

Starring Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson, the show debuted this summer and was a ratings hit for the cable network.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- TNT says it has ordered a 10-episode second season of Murder in the First, its crime drama starring Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson.

Executive produced by Steven Bochco and Eric Lodal, the series follows San Francisco homicide detectives Terry English and Hildy Mulligan.

The show debuted this summer and was a ratings hit for the cable network.

No air date for Season 2 has been announced yet.
