BBC America special will mark Prince Harry's 30th birthday

The hour-long program is to air Sept. 14, the night before the milestone birthday of the younger son of Britain's Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana.

NEW YORK, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- BBC America says it plans to air a television special called Harry at 30 to celebrate the 30th birthday of Britain's Prince Harry.

The hour-long program is to air Sept. 14, the night before the milestone birthday of the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana.

Featuring contributions from friends, military colleagues, historians, journalists, photographers and royal correspondents, the documentary explores "the highs and lows of Harry's extraordinary life, providing unique and privileged insight into what it was like to lose his mother at such an early age, how he dealt with growing up in the shadow of his older brother, and what his thoughts are on being Britain's most eligible bachelor," a synopsis said.
