'Saturday Night Live,' HBO sweep at Creative Arts Emmy awards

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- NBC's Saturday Night Live took home the biggest haul of Creative Arts Emmy awards Saturday night with five trophies.

The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon won Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for hosting SNL. The show also now for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Series, Outstanding Hairstyling For A Multi-Camera Series Or Special, Outstanding Makeup For A Multi-Camera Series Or Special (Non-Prosthetic) and Outstanding Costumers for a Variety Program or Special.

Fallon also took home an Outstanding Interactive Program award for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Digital Experience.

HBO won the most awards for a single network with a total of 15 trophies.

True Detective won for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series, Game of Thrones won Outstanding Art Direction for a Contemporary or Fantasy Series and Boardwalk Empire won Outstanding Art Direction for a Period Series, Miniseries or a Movie (Single-Camera).

The ceremony was held Saturday night at the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
