NEW YORK, July 2 (UPI) -- Breaking Bad will soon return to AMC.

The network plans to air eight-episode marathon blocks beginning in August. The episodes will air each Sunday and conclude with last year's season finale on October 5. Never-before-seen interviews and behind-the-scenes commentary and footage will be included in the time slot.

Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul is scheduled to premiere some time in 2015. Showrunner Peter Gould revealed this week that Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) may cameo in the program.

"One of the great things about having a timeline which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before Breaking Bad, during Breaking Bad, and after Breaking Bad," he told the New York Daily News. "That gives us the ability to bring back characters."

Gould did qualify that he and creator Vince Gilligan "want to make a show that stands on its own, is its own story and is a brand extension."

The Breaking Bad marathons begin August 10, and air each Sunday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET.
