NEW YORK, May 7 (UPI) -- Reality TV star Farrah Abraham won't be joining her former Teen Mom co-stars for the show's fifth season, as MTV executives believe her ventures in the porn industry make her a bad example for viewers.

Sources close to the situation told Us Weekly that MTV has "willingly cut Farrah" after three of her former co-stars refused to work with her again. Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood are in negotiations and expected to return next season,

"MTV agreed," said the insider. "They feel she set a bad example and doesn't represent the network well."

Portwood, 24, Bookout, 22, and Lowell, 22, reportedly told MTV executives in March that they wouldn't be a part of the show if Abaham was included. Abraham told Us Weekly she was fine with the situation because they were "never friends."

"Personally, I like to keep my life separate," she said in April. "We came in the project separate, and I think it's best we keep our lives separate."

Abraham, who has a 5-year-old daughter named Sophia, is currently working on a trilogy of erotic novels and recently starred in VH1's Couples Therapy.
