Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson to perform at BET Honors

WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Janelle Monae, Tamar Braxton and Smokey Robinson are to perform at the BET Honors ceremony in Washington this month.

Wayne Brady is to serve as host of the Warner Theatre event celebrating "distinguished African-Americans performing at exceptional levels," the cable network said in a news release.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, Joe Morton, Ludacris and Mack Wilds are scheduled to be presenters during the show, which will air on the cable television network Feb. 24.
