David Cassidy charged with DUI in LA

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Entertainer David Cassidy has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, the Los Angeles City Attorney's office told TMZ.

Cassidy, 63, was stopped Jan 10 after police said they saw him make an illegal right turn.

The former "Partridge Family" star was arrested after he allegedly failed a field sobriety test.

Cassidy has two prior convictions for driving under the influence, TMZ said Wednesday.
