Emmy Awards show to air on a Monday in August

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Hollywood's 66th Prime-time Emmy Awards show is to air on a Monday, instead of the traditional Sunday, this year, NBC announced.

The ceremony honoring the best in television is to take place Aug. 25.

The program will air live on NBC from the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.

The announcement was made jointly by the Television Academy and NBC.

No host or producers have been announced yet.
