'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' to be taped in Austin, Texas

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- A week of episodes of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" will be taped in Austin, Texas, in March, ABC announced Thursday.

The Los Angeles-based show's trip will coincide with the 28th annual South by Southwest music and film festival.

"Austin is one of my favorite cities and there is no place more fun than SXSW. I can't wait for March 10," Kimmel said in a statement. "I'll be the guy covered in BBQ sauce."
