Emily Maynard and Tyler Johnson get engaged

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- U.S. reality TV star Emily Maynard has confirmed to UsMagazine.com she is engaged to marry management consultant Tyler Johnson.

Maynard, who is the single mom of an 8-year-old daughter named Ricki, got engaged to "The Bachelor" star Brad Womack and "The Bachelorette" winner Jef Holm, but neither relationship worked out.

"We're really excited!!" Maynard told UsMagazine.com, as she confirmed Johnson proposed Jan. 4.

"He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki and me rings. It was so sweet! Ricki loves him more than she likes me," she said. "We definitely are looking to get married sooner rather than later. No point in waiting!"
