'Big Bang' star Cuoco marries tennis pro at New Year's Eve wedding

SIMI VALLEY, Calif., Jan. 1 (UPI) -- "The Big Bang" star Kaley Cuoco said on social media she married tennis pro Ryan Sweeting in Simi Valley, Calif., on New Year's Eve.

The pair wed Tuesday night, ABC's "Good Morning America" reported, after confirming their engagement Sept. 26.

The wedding took place at the Grand Vista hotel, US Weekly reported, and Cuoco wore a pink strapless Vera Wang dress.

She posted a picture on Instagram Wednesday of herself in her wedding dress kissing Sweeting.

The caption read, "Yep :) #thesweetings."

The couple had been dating for six months, People reported.

"I know that it seems a little crazy on paper but it works for us. From day one, I just knew immediately and it's been magic," Cuoco, 27, told Entertainment Tonight in September.
