Adam Sandler to guest star on 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'

NEW YORK, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Adam Sandler is to appear in an upcoming episode of the freshman sitcom "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," E! News reported.

The show stars Sandler's fellow former "Saturday Night Live" cast member and "That's My Boy" co-star Andy Samberg.

E! said Fox has not confirmed Sandler's casting in next month's Super Bowl Sunday episode, however, insiders said Sandler will play himself in a scene with his Samberg, who plays a New York Police Department detective.
