Gunn, Weaver land roles on 'Broadchurch' remake

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Anna Gunn and Jacki Weaver have joined the cast of the upcoming U.S. remake of the British mystery series, "Broadchurch," EW.com reported Monday.

Original "Broadchurch" star David Tennant will also appear in the Americanized version of the show, which is being called "Gracepoint," but his police detective character will have another name, the report said.

Filming is to begin in January and the show is to air during the 2014-15 television season.
