LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Sarah Silverman appeared on her ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel's TV show with a box labeled "Jimmy's Stuff" -- including socks and a toothbrush.

There was also a collage of Kimmel's photographed head removed from photos of the couple together, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Silverman appeared Thursday on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to promote her own HBO special, "Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles." The couple, who dated for several years before splitting up in 2009, appeared friendly.

Kimmel married Molly McNearney, a writer for his show, this year, something Silverman commented on. Silverman was a frequent Kimmel guest back in the day.

"It's like I never left! Only you're married," she said.

One joke got a bit raw with a young boy running on to the stage and asking Silverman, "Mommy, am I going to meet Daddy tonight?"

"No, your daddy's dead -- go backstage," Silverman snapped.

Silverman called the experience of being on the show "weird, but good weird," telling Kimmel being in an ex-partner's talk show is "the cycle of life."
