One Direction to perform on 'Good Morning America'

NEW YORK, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- One Direction is to perform live on "Good Morning America" Nov. 26, ABC announced Tuesday.

The British and Irish boy band is giving the free show to promote the release of its third studio album "Midnight Memories," due in stores Nov. 25.

"Additionally, the band will have a major announcement that morning," ABC said in a news release regarding the musicians' Nov. 26 appearance on "GMA." "The concert will be a free, ticketed event. More details will be announced soon."
