LOS ANGELES, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker were unable to complete this week's episode of the U.S. show due to a power outage, Comedy Central said.

"On Tuesday night, South Park Studios lost power," the cable TV network said in a statement Wednesday. "From animation to rendering to editing and sound, all of their computers were down for hours and they were unable to finish episode 1704, 'Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers' in time for air tonight."

A repeat aired instead and "Goth Kids 3" is now scheduled to air Oct. 23.

"It sucks to miss an air date but after all these years of tempting fate by delivering the show last minute, I guess it was bound to happen," Parker said in a statement.
