Jonathan Lipnicki to star in Syfy's 'Beast of the Bering Sea'

NEW YORK, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Jonathan Lipnicki and Cassie Scerbo are set to battle sea vampires in the U.S. television movie "Beast of the Bering Sea," Syfy announced Thursday.

The "Jerry Maguire" actor and "Sharknado" actress will play a brother-and-sister team prospecting for gold, who accidentally disturb a colony of "blood-sucking amphibious predators" in an underwater cave, a synopsis said.

Co-starring Kevin Dobson, the film is to premiere Nov. 9.
