Derek Hough and Nina Dobrev break up

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- U.S. professional dancer Derek Hough and actress Nina Dobrev have broken up after dating for six weeks, UsMagazine.com reported Wednesday.

The couple decided the relationship had "played itself out," one insider said.

"The distance was too much to handle," a second source said.

Hough, 28, lives in Los Angeles where his show "Dancing with the Stars" is taped, while Dobrev, 24, is shooting "The Vampire Diaries" in Atlanta.
