BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are to serve as co-hosts of Hollywood's Golden Globes Awards for the next two years, organizers announced Tuesday.

The comic duo and longtime friends earned rave reviews as the emcees of the 2013 prize presentation for which the Hollywood Foreign Press Association honored the best in film and television of 2012.

"It's wonderful news," HFPA President Theo Kingma said in a statement. "They have always been our first choice as hosts and we're delighted they are back for the next two years."
