Amy Poehler and Jon Hamm throw party for Emmy losers

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Jon Hamm and Amy Poehler served as hosts of the first "Emmy Party Losers Lounge" at Soho House in Los Angeles, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The event took place after Sunday night's prize presentation honoring the year's best in television.

Among the guests were Jimmy Kimmel, Elisabeth Moss, David Spade, Fred Armisen and January Jones -- none of whom won an Emmy this year -- the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

Winners, such as Poehler's longtime friend, "30 Rock" writer-actress Tina Fey, and "Modern Family" cast member Ty Burrell, were permitted to enter the bash by making a donation to the Worldwide Orphans fund at the door, the report said, adding nearly $20,000 was raised for the charity.

Guests left the party with engraved bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue, The Hollywood Reporter said.
