LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Tina Fey told E! News she and Amy Poehler are considering serving as co-hosts of the Golden Globe Awards ceremony in Los Angeles for a second consecutive year.

The pair earned rave reviews for their work at the 2013 edition of the event and the telecast's producers reportedly have been courting the women to return in 2014.

"Have you asked Amy yet, because we literally said we're going to talk about it tonight because we haven't seen each other," Fey told E! News at the Emmy Awards show Sunday night.

Fey said she and Poehler have been on opposite sides of the country working on projects and haven't been able to properly catch up and discuss the Globes gig, which honors the year's best in film and television.

"NBC has invited us," Fey said. "We're going to talk about it tonight!"
