Sarah Silverman wore a $60 dress to the Emmy Awards

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Comedian and TV personality Sarah Silverman says the black pencil dress she wore to the Emmy Awards show in Los Angeles cost $60.

"I bought it online for $60," Silverman told E!'s Ryan Seacrest about the frock she donned for Sunday night's event.

Silverman didn't say from which cyberstore she bought the dress.

Yahoo! News said she dressed up her ensemble with expensive Walter Steiger platform shoes to walk the same red carpet on which "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara was wearing $7 million in Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
