'Modern Family' to air nightly in syndication starting Monday

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- The Emmy-winning sitcom "Modern Family" is to air in U.S. syndication five nights a week starting Monday, Twentieth Century Fox Television announced.

The show will be televised on local Fox stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego, Dallas, San Francisco, Houston and Washington.

It also will be seen on Philadelphia's PHL17, Boston's CW 56 and Atlanta's WPCH.

Starring Ed O'Neill, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet, "Modern Family" won three consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series and a Golden Globe Award for Best Comedy Television Series.

The show's fifth season is to premiere Sept. 25 on ABC.
