Valerie Harper to compete on 'Dancing with the Stars,' ABC confirms

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Valerie Harper, Christina Milian, Keyshawn Johnson, Elizabeth Berkley and Amber Riley are to compete on Season 17 of "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles.

The cast was announced Wednesday on ABC's "Good Morning America" in New York.

Also competing for the coveted mirror ball trophy will be "Jersey Shore" alum Snooki Polizzi, singer-actor Corbin Bleu, actress Leah Remini, comedian Bill Engvall, actor Brant Daugherty, Bill Nye "The Science Guy" and reality TV personality Jack Osbourne.

Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke Charvet are to return as co-hosts of the show, which will have its season premiere Sept. 16.
