LOS ANGELES, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne kisses former "Wonder Years" actress Danica McKellar in her new music video "Rock N Roll."

"But if you and I put up a middle finger to the sky, let 'em know that we're still rock 'n' roll," Lavigne sings, dressed in pseudo combat fatigues in the military- and comic-book-style music video.

"It was the first kiss for both of us. We never really talked about it afterward," Lavigne said in a voice-over as she and McKellar -- who is wearing a midriff-bearing top, shorts and stockings -- kiss in a car. "But, I think about the events of that day again and again, and somehow I know that Winnie does, too."

Winnie was the character McKellar, now 38, played on the coming-of-age TV series "The Wonder Years," which was set in the 1960s and '70s, and which aired from 1988 to 1993.
