John Stamos to take teen amputee to Disneyland

ANAHEIM, Calif., Aug. 9 (UPI) -- John Stamos visited Kaitlyn Dobrow this week in an Orange County, Calif., hospital and promised the 19-year-old quadruple amputee he'd take her to Disneyland.

"Hanging out with my girls kaitlyn @kristenkiddie -- we're planning our trip to @disneyland !!!" the former "Full House" star tweeted after his visit Tuesday.

He also posted a photo of himself sitting on the hospital bed next to Dobrow and her best friend, Kristen Kidd.

People.com said Dobrow had both legs and arms amputated during her battle with the bacterial infection meningococcemia.

She has undergone 12 operations since she was first hospitalized in February, but is expected to leave the hospital for a rehabilitation clinic next week, the celebrity news website said.
