Gail Kobe, producer and actress, dead at 82

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- U.S. actress and producer Gail Kobe has died at the age of 82, reported.

The Emmy Award nominee for TV's "Dr. Kildare" died last Thursday, but the cause of her death has not been disclosed.


Her big-screen credits include "The Ten Commandments." She also appeared in dozens of TV shows, such as "Peyton Place," "Bright Promise," "The Twilight Zone," "The Fugitive," "Bewitched," "Hogan's Heroes," "The Mod Squad," "Mission Impossible," "The Outer Limits," "Rawhide," "The Virginian," "Maverick," "Daniel Boone," "Gunsmoke," "Days of Our Lives," "Texas," "Another World," "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "Guiding Light." said she had resided at the Motion Picture Television Fund Home in California for the past two years.
