Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are dating

NEW YORK, July 12 (UPI) -- U.S. television stars Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are dating, sources told Us Weekly Friday.

"Yes, they recently started dating and are having a lot of fun," an insider said. "They had a blast 4th of July hanging out with a bunch of their friends."

Wahlberg is a member of the pop music group New Kids on the Block, as well as the star of the small-screen police drama "Blue Bloods."

McCarthy is the host of "The Jenny McCarthy Show." She reportedly is also in contention for a job as a panelist on "The View."
