Donald Glover scaling back 'Community' service in Season 5

LOS ANGELES, July 9 (UPI) -- Donald Glover will only appear in five of 13 episodes of the Colorado-set sitcom "Community" next season, Vulture.com reported.

Glover plays community college student Troy Barnes on the show.

The actor is scaling back on his hours in Season 5 so he can focus on his rap music career under the professional name Childish Gambino.

The Hollywood Reporter said NBC, the network that airs "Community," and Sony, the company that produces the show, declined to comment on the news.
