HOLLYWOOD, June 16 (UPI) -- U.S. actor George Wendt will guest star in an upcoming TV Land sitcom "Kirstie," joining former "Cheers" co-stars Kirstie Alley and Rhea Perlman.

Perlman plays Thelma, Madison's assistant and best friend, while Wendt will guest star as Thelma's ex-husband, Duke Bainbridge, a professional pool player who cheated on Thelma while they were married, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

In addition to a "Cheers" reunion, the show will reconnect members of the Seinfeld cast.

Michael Richards is set to play Madison's eccentric driver, and Jason Alexander will guest-star as her Broadway agent.

A premiere date for the series has not yet been determined.
