Soap actress Maxine Stuart dead at 94

LOS ANGELES, June 12 (UPI) -- Actress Maxine Stuart, who was 94, died of natural causes at her home in Beverly Hills, Calif., said her daughter, Chris Ann Maxwell.

The Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday she died Thursday.

Stuart, a New Jersey native, was known for her work on the soap operas "The Edge of Night" and "The Young & the Restless" and her guest appearances on the shows "The Twilight Zone," "The Wonder Years," "Dr. Kildare," "Peyton Place," "Murphy Brown," "NYPD Blue," "Chicago Hope" and "Judging Amy."
