LOS ANGELES, May 14 (UPI) -- Soap star Ingo Rademacher and his professional partner Kym Johnson were eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Tuesday night.

"This has been an amazing experience because I thought I was going to be done in two weeks," the actor said upon hearing his fate in week 9 of the competition.

"I've really got a ballroom frame now," he said, referring to the stiff way dancers are expected to hold their arms.

Rademacher got the boot thanks to a combination of low judges' scores and viewer votes.

Going into next week's finals, along with their professional dance partners, are singer Kellie Pickler, Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman and NFL star Jacoby Jones.

Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet are co-hosts of the show.
