Savannah Guthrie confirms engagement on 'Today'

NEW YORK, May 13 (UPI) -- "Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie announced on the New York chat show Monday Michael Feldman, her boyfriend of four years, proposed to her during the weekend.

Guthrie showed off her new diamond ring but swore her wedding wouldn't be taped for a "Today" segment.

"Good for you and congratulations to Mr. Feldman," said her co-anchor Matt Lauer. "He's a great guy."

People.com said Feldman is a political and communications adviser.
