LOS ANGELES, April 9 (UPI) -- Reality TV personality Lisa Vanderpump was eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Tuesday night.

Vanderpump got the boot thanks to a combination of low judges' scores and viewer votes after she performed while battling a viral infection.

Asked if she was happy she went on the show, Vanderpump replied: "Just to be included with this group of people -- gold medalists, Olympians, but, most importantly, just a wonderful bunch of people. Yes, I am really happy. It's been six long weeks, I have to say. Boy, has it taken its toll. It's the hardest thing I've ever done. But I was given a gift, dancing with [my professional dance partner Gleb [Savchenko.] He was so patient. I just really want to thank my cast-mates because they have been amazing and made it so much fun, so, thank you."

Still in the running for the mirror ball trophy, along with their professional dance partners, are singer Kellie Pickler, comedians Andy Dick and D.L. Hughley, boxer Victor Ortiz, soap star Ingo Rademacher, Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman and NFL star Jacoby Jones.
