ATLANTA, March 30 (UPI) -- "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams said she wants alimony after former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart filed divorce papers this week.
Williams filed an official response to Stewart's divorce documents, saying he should pay alimony because she quit her job and sold her business to take care of his son from a previous relationship, TMZ reported. Williams also requested exclusive use of the couple's Atlanta home.
Williams' representative told TMZ her client was blindsided by the divorce filing because Stewart had promised to work on the marriage with her when she threatened divorce earlier.
Stewart claims the reality television star doesn't deserve alimony because she can earn her own income, court documents said.
