LOS ANGELES, March 5 (UPI) -- Canadian stars Alison Pill and Jay Baruchel have ended their two-year engagement and broken up, UsMagazine.com said.

"Alone again, naturally. Heartbroken," Baruchel wrote in a Feb. 16 Twitter message he later deleted. "I won't be on twitter for awhile gang. Getting dumped rules."

UsMagazine.com said it confirmed the breakup Monday, but the celebrity magazine did not report the reason for the split.

Pill is a cast member of TV's "Newsroom."

Baruchel appeared in the films "Tropic Thunder," "Million Dollar Baby," "Knocked Up" and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," and lent his voice to the main character in the animated movie, "How to Train Your Dragon."
