LOS ANGELES, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- David Faustino is to guest star on his former "Married ... with Children" co-star Ed O'Neill's new sitcom, "Modern Family," The Hollywood Reporter said.

Faustino will play Drew, a successful former classmate of Julie Bowen's character Claire, with whom she reconnects at her high school reunion.

The entertainment industry trade newspaper said Faustino isn't expected to share any scenes with his former TV father and no air date for the episode has been set.

Faustino, who co-starred with O'Neill for 11 years on "Married," lately has been lending his voice to a character on Nickelodeon's "The Legend of Korra."
