NEW YORK, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Numerous celebrities who live in downtown Manhattan headed uptown to The Mark hotel after losing power thanks to Hurricane Sandy, the New York Post said.

Among the well-heeled refugees staying at the hotel were Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber, Helena Christensen, Anna Wintour, Russell Crowe, Marc Jacobs, Kelly Ripa, Jonah Hill and Emma Stone, the report said.

"The scene at The Mark was buzzing with big names escaping the downtown blackout. Emma Stone and Jonah Hill were at the bar, while Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld and Andre Balazs were at different tables in the restaurant," an insider told the Post.

Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria, stayed at the Lowell Hotel, as did Harvey Weinstein and his wife, Georgina Chapman, the newspaper said.
