LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Police in California said they charged Hulk Hogan's ex-wife, Linda Hogan, for DUI and driving on a suspended license.
Linda Hogan -- whose real name is Linda Bollea -- was stopped for speeding in Los Angeles Thursday, her representative told TMZ. Her blood alcohol content was listed on the police citation as .084, .004 above the legal limit in California.
An inmate information operator at the jail told TMZ Linda Hogan, 52, was also booked driving on a suspended licenses, though her publicist denied that charge. The rep said Hogan drank a glass of champagne on an empty stomach, the effects of which were compounded by antibiotics.
Linda Hogan was released from jail on $5,000 bail.
She said she still plans to appear on the TLC reality show "Brides of Beverly Hills" to search for the perfect wedding dress, even though her engagement to 23-year-old Charley Hill ended in May.
Sources, whose names were not reported, told TMZ she was originally booked for the show while still engaged.
Linda Hogan told TMZ she wants to appear on the show to make the point that sometimes weddings don't work out.
