Funeral held for actress Lupe Ontiveros

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Eva Longoria, Wilmer Vaderrama and Edward James Olmos attended the South California funeral for actress Lupe Ontiveros Friday, TMZ reported.

No other details regarding the service were immediately available.

The "Selena" co-star and "Desperate Housewives" cast member died July 26 of liver cancer. She was 69.

Born in Texas to Mexican immigrants, Ontiveros once estimated she had played the role of a maid more than 150 times throughout her career.

Her film credits include the films "Chuck & Buck," "Real Women Have Curves," "Storytelling," "As Good As It Gets," "The Goonies" and "El Norte."
