Snooki confirms she is pregnant

NEW YORK, March 7 (UPI) -- "Jersey Shore" starlet Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi confirmed to Us Weekly she is 15 weeks pregnant.

The 24-year-old reality TV personality, who is known for her hard-partying ways, is engaged to Jionni LaValle, her boyfriend of more than a year.

"I have different priorities now," Polizzi told the magazine. "I don't care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I'm ready and he's ready."

"We are not going to screw this up," LaValle, 24, said.
